Thank you to the Japanese Embassy GGP Programme.

The False Bay Hospital Trust is extremely grateful to the Japanese Embassy for the immensely generous grant which covered the purchase of a portable ultrasound machine, a freestanding ultrasound machine and a CTG machine for False Bay Hospital.

These items will make a huge difference to quality health service delivery at False Bay Hospital.

The False Bay Hospital Clinic is up and running!

The False Bay Hospital proudly opened its vaccination clinic in May 2021 and is happy to say that it is running smoothly and effectively. The False Bay Hospital Trust covered the costs of the Timber which was needed to enclose the waiting area to protect against the cold and rain. Also a big thank you to Pick n’ Pay who donated lolllipops to give to the elderly who had skipped breakfast to get there early.

Thank you also to East Coast Medical for the 2x hand held dopplers and to RCA for the 100 peak flowmeters. Your kind support and generosity is deeply appreciated!.

Other News:

The False Bay Hospital Trust is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Cape Medical response (CMR), to provide emergency medical transport to False Bay Hospital for individuals who need urgent and critical medical attention where the Provincial ambulance service is unable to assist in time, and where the patient cannot afford to pay private ambulance fees.

FBHT has launched a special fund- Comfund for this purpose and any donations will be welcome.

Vaccinations are currently being administered to over 60 year olds at the False Bay Hospital vaccination clinic. The 50 year old cohort will start this month.

All of this would not be possible without the support of our primary donors: The Rolf-Stephan Nussbaum Foundation; Dawn Raimondo and Anthony and Julie Burgess. Thank you for allowing the FBH Trust to grow and develop.

Please consider supporting the operational costs for 2021/22 and become one of our primary donors. Your kind support and generosity is deeply appreciated.
